The first real offering under my own name. This is an EP, but also kind of a mix of different sounds, from the clave of Afro-Cuban music, to the sounds of chamber strings, to the gamelan of my heritage, to the gated reverb of the 80s. It’s all under the realm of funk, and hopefully will in some way make you move.

I used to use the name Indo Dhans as an artist name, preferring to keep my own name for my various other musical endeavors. But at a certain point over the last couple years I felt it was time to bring everything I do under the banner of my own name. Really I just want to own it. I'll be releasing a lot of different types of stuff on this here bandcamp. Some of it will be like this, and a lot will possibly be completely different. Follow along and hopefully you'll enjoy the sonic ride.
